I am Dimitra Paschalidi, known as Mema to my friends, originally from Skiathos, where I have been living for the past eight years. I am married to Giannis, and we have two sons, George and Giannis.I hold a degree in International Relations and have studied Arabic at universities in Rhodes, Syria, and Morocco, as well as Turkish in Izmir. I have worked as an Arabic translator, an Arabic teacher for Greek students, and an education officer in large refugee camps.I also hold a master’s degree in Language Education, with a specialization and thesis on designing Greek for Specific Purposes materials for expats living in Greece. Since 2020, I have been working exclusively with adult learners of Greek, an experience I deeply enjoy, as it opens new horizons while allowing me to cherish the quiet family life on the island.

Dimitra is a very good teacher. She has a lot of patience and a deep understanding of how to match her lessons to the students' abilities.
